Barbara A. (Day) Aellig

Barbara A. Aellig, age 60 of Marion, passed away Friday evening, December 15, 2017 at the Bridges of Appleton.

Barbara Ann Day was born on May 14, 1957 in Appleton as the daughter of Mary (Zschaechner) Day-Williams and the late Kenneth Day. She grew up in Appleton where she later graduated from high school. On September 28, 1991 Barbara was united in marriage to James E. Aellig, Sr. at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marion. The couple resided in Marion where Barbara was employed at Marion Plywood. James preceded his wife in death on July 3, 1994. Barbara had taken pride in the fact that she quit smoking and lived life on her own terms. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved to go shopping.

Survivors include:

Her Daughter: Kimberly (Shawn) Aull.

Mother: Mary Williams.

Grandchildren: Tyler, Dallas & Briar Day.

Step-Granddaughters: Shyanne & Ella Aull.

Brothers: Dennis (Donna) Day & Mike Day.

Also Nephews: Craig (Tanya) Day & Brad (Emilie) Day.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Day, husband James Aellig, Sr., and step-father Norm Williams.

A private family graveside committal will be held at the Trinity-St. John’s Cemetery in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County with Rev. Beth Macha officiating.
