Donald R. Bodoh

Donald R. Bodoh, age 99 of Clintonville, passed away Thursday evening, October 8, 2015 at the Theda Care Shawano Medical Center.

Donald was born October 19,1915 in the Township of Matteson, Waupaca County, as the son of the late Robert and Myrtle (Richer) Bodoh.  He attended rural school “Clovernook” and graduated from Clintonville High School with the Class of 1933.  Donald went to work in Milwaukee for a few years and then returned to Clintonville.  On July 2, 1938, he married Cora Hanson and they continued to live in Clintonville where Donald worked at the FWD for 42 years.  He worked at various other jobs such as remodeling and fixing things for people. He loved hunting, fishing, and dancing. 

Donald is survived by: His Daughter: Eileen Bodoh, Milwaukee.

Sons: James (Vicki) Bodoh, St. Croix Falls & Dennis (Barbara) Bodoh, Clintonville.

4 Grandchildren: David Bodoh, Milwaukee; Toni (Douglas) Giese, Rib Lake; Steven Bodoh, La Crosse; & Katie Bodoh, Las Vegas, NV.

4 Great-Grandchildren: Gustav, Ila, Vincent, & Sophia.

Also several nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cora, a sister Birdie (Edward) McHugh, brothers-in-law: Orville Schultz, Warren Hanson, & Roger (Rosemary) Hanson, a sister-in-law Marge Bodoh; a son-in-law Robert Kalupa, and a special friend companion Carol Wait.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held on October 17, 2015 at 12 PM at Mathew’s Supper Club for family and friends.  The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Clintonville is assisting his family with the arrangements. www.eberhardtstevenson.com.
