Duane Marvin Kuehl

Duane M. Kuehl, age 64, of Clintonville, passed away Monday morning, January 26, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah.

Duane Marvin Kuehl was born in Clintonville November 4, 1950, to the late Ervin and Lucille (Schellinger) Kuehl. He was baptized at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville and also attended school there. In the years following school, Duane lived and worked on the family farm on County Trunk C. He also worked at the Baker Canning Company, Shawano, and Clintonville Elevator. In 1979, Duane started working at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville, where he has been employed for the last 36 years. He was recognized by the City of Clintonville in 2009 for his many years of dedicated service. Duane enjoyed deer hunting in his earlier years, and loved to watch Packer football. Anyone who knew Duane knew that he was a jack of all trades who would drop what he was doing to help anyone who needed it. He will always be remembered for his work ethic and his servant-heart.

His brother: Gerald (Linda) Kuehl, Clintonville

His significant other: Emilie Maves, Clintonville

His son: Carl (Kristen) Maves, Pella

His daughter: Christina Maves, Appleton

His nieces: Connie (Rick) Crain and Carey (Derek) Rindt

His nephews: Terry Werth, Gerald Jr. (Lana) Kuehl, and Jeffrey Kuehl

His grand-nieces and nephews: Christopher, Courtney, Amanda, Rick Jr.,

                                               Ashley, Donovan, Skylar, and Ryland

His grandchildren: Natalie, Kayra, and Miranda

& several close friends.

He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, his parents, his sister LaVerne Kuehl, and his niece Cheryl Werth.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, January 31st at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, with the Rev. Christian Burg officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9AM until the time of the service.  

Interment will take place at St. Martin Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
