Edna Lorrien (Neuendorf) Kasuboski

Edna L. Kasuboski, Clintonville, WI

Edna Lorrien Kasuboski was called to her heavenly home on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was born April 27, 1919 on a Bear Creek farm to Edwin and Ottilie (Lemke) Neuendorf and was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church, Nicholson. After her father died in 1926 her family relocated to Clintonville and her mother married Oscar Noak.

Besides being a loving Christian mother, her interests included St. Martin Lutheran Church activities, bible classes, parent-teacher league, Boy Scout and Girl Scout leadership, archery club, card club, gardening, reading, walking, musical and sporting events, learning to swim, and auditing a UW-La Crosse class. She also traveled throughout the United States, Canada, England, and Europe.

After graduating from St. Martin Lutheran School, she entered the work force as housekeeper, Marson Hotel kitchen, JC Penny’s, canning factory, hospital, and 16 years Northside crossing guard. Edna completed one year pre-nursing training as evident by her care and compassion for others. In 1938 she wed Alvin Kasuboski who died in 1998.

She is survived by her son Dr. David (Linda) Kasuboski, daughter Cheryl Kasuboski, brother Harvey Neuendorf, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin, parents, and stepfather, infant son Alvin Jr., infant brother Edgar, brother Burton (Eunice) Neuendorf, sisters Dolores (Kermit) Buelow, Naomi (Eugene) Wickert, Audrey (John) Chaffee, and sister-in-law Virginia Neuendorf. Rejoice in the eternal life won for her by her Savior.

A private gravesite service will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville, WI.

Memorials in Edna’s name may be given to St. Martin Lutheran Church General Fund, 100 S. Clinton Ave., Clintonville, WI 54929.
