Frieda Ruth (Koepke) Yaeger

Frieda R. Yaeger, age 90 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, April 27, 2016 at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.

Frieda Ruth Yaeger was born August 2, 1925 in the Township of Dupont, daughter to the late Fred & Lillie (Hoffmann) Koepke. She grew up near Marion and attended Marion School through the ninth grade. Frieda was united in marriage to Arthur Yaeger on July 7, 1945 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marion. They farmed in the Town of Dupont from 1946 until their retirement in 1984, at which point they relocated to Clintonville. Frieda was a current member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville where she was active until her last years. She adored gardening as well as anything that kept her outdoors.

Daughters: Sandra (Fred) Marquardt, Clintonville

                        Vickie (Erwin) Muschkat, Clintonville

Sons: Jerry (Barbara) Yaeger, De Pere

            Douglas (Sandra) Yaeger, Clintonville

Grandchildren: Michelle (Chris) McInnis, Matthew (Sue) Marquardt, Arthur Muschkat, Lianne Muschkat, Brandon (Abigail) Yaeger, Brittany (Jacob Hanke) Yaeger, Robert (Abby) Yaeger, & Jennifer (Mike Conrad) Yaeger 

Great-grandchildren: Grady & Gabby Yaeger, Gavin McInnis, Jacob & Trevin Marquardt, & baby Yaeger due in June.

Sister-in-law: Carol Yaeger   

Frieda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur; an infant son, Robert; sisters, Selma Schwann, Lorena Pethke, & Melinda Meilke.

Funeral services will be held 6 PM, Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Christian Burg officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville following the service.

Friends may call on Friday at the church from 4:30 PM until the time of service.
