Irene B. (Laude) Krueger

Irene B. Krueger, age 96 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, April 15, 2017 at Kindred Hearts of Clintonville.

Irene was born on February 8, 1921 as the daughter of the late Arthur and Lora (Schachtschneider) Laude. She grew up in the town of Pella, Shawano County, where she attended grade school. After graduating from high school she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” C. Krueger on June 24, 1944 in the Town of Pella. The couple farmed the home farm on the old Route 3, Clintonville where Irene also enjoyed taking care of her garden. Bob later preceded his wife in death on October 6, 1985. Irene was a life-long member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pella. She loved polka dancing and enjoyed many games of sheephead over the years.

Her Children: Kay (Joe) Secrest, Algoma & Myron (Shirley) Krueger, Clintonville.

Grandchildren: Jarrod Secrest, Marion; Aaron Secrest, Algoma; Robert Secrest, Pulaski; Sandi Krueger, Clintonville; Curtis (Erika) Krueger, Denver, CO; Meri (Ryan) Robinson, Larkspur, CO; Lori (James) Roberts, Parker, CO.

Great-Grandchildren: Lukas & Julie Krueger.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob.

Irene’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in the Town of Pella with Rev. Timothy Lofgren officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
