James “Fred” Edward Aderman was born August 20, 1951 in Plymouth, WI to Robert & Doris (Marth) Aderman. Fred grew up in the Marion area and graduated from Marion High School in 1970. After graduation, he was employed by Marion Plywood for a time, later working as a cheese maker for F.R. Buss Cheese, Caroline and Oak Grove Cheese, Pella. Fred suffered with Multiple Sclerosis for many years and finally retired from Oak Grove Cheese in 2002. Fred enjoyed the outdoors and was a true sportsman in every sense of the word; hunting, fishing, and trapping were what he loved most. He was known locally for the bond that he shared with his Black Labrador, Babe; the pair could often be seen walking around downtown Marion. Fred also shared a close relationship with his mother, Doris, whom he loved very much.
