Sigrid Darlene Begrow (Roe), age 78 of the Township of Dupont, Waupaca County, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
Sigrid was born on January 6, 1938 in White Lake, WI as the daughter of the late Dennis and Ethel Roe. Sigrid grew up in Clintonville where she graduated from high school with high honors. Sigrid was united in marriage to William Gust Begrow, Jr. on September 3, 1955 and the couple resided in rural Marion. Sigrid worked as a cook for many years. First at Jerry & Pat’s Café in Clintonville and later Steve and Mary’s Cafe in Marion. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Dupont. Sigrid enjoyed cooking and working in her vegetable and flower gardens.
Survivors include: Her Husband: William G. Begrow, Jr.
3 Sons: Michael of Omro; Arlin of Mondovi; & William (Cathy) of Wausau.
5 Daughters: Kathy (Paul) West of Plover; Barbara (Dan) Boness of Kaukauna; Marcia Klingbeil of Hillpoint; Patricia (Sam) Prahl of Northport; & Sharon (Richard) Diver of Lac Du Flambeau.
Grandchildren: Tyler Begrow; Joshua (Lacey) West; Jamie (Kristi) Sanderfoot; Joshua (Clarissa) Fradrich; Morgan Begrow; Adam Smith; Bethany Smith; Jessica (Tim) Cordy; Michelle (Mark) Sparks; Jacob Begrow; Hannah Klingbeil; Noah Klingbeil; Olivia Klingbeil; Madalyn Prahl; Jon Yellow Thunder; & Jeff Yellow Thunder.

Sigrid was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons; Gerald & Stanley, a daughter; Mary, siblings; Vesta Taylor, Emma Boswell, Marie Berndt, & Dennis Roe.
Sigrid’s memorial service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 12 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville with Rev. Brad Dokken officiating. Inurnment will be at Roseland Cemetery in the Town of Dupont. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
