Arlene "Ollie" Schultz Obituary

Arlene “Ollie” A. Schultz, age 86 of the Town of Larrabee, Waupaca County passed away Thursday morning March 11, 2021 at Care Partner’s Assisted Living in Clintonville.

Arlene Ebert was born on September 9, 1934 in the Town of Larrabee as the daughter of the late William and Lulu (Schoneck) Ebert. She graduated from Clintonville High School with the Class of 1952 and was united in marriage to Roger Schultz on September 13, 1952 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville. Arlene was a lifelong member at St. Martin where she volunteered often. She was a proud member of the St. Martin Ladies Aid since the age of 25, helped assemble the church newsletter and bulletins each week, and was a past member of the PTL while her kids were in St. Martin grade school. Roger and Arlene purchased their farm in Larrabee where they farmed together until they retired and passed it down to their son Mike and his wife Robin. Arlene enjoyed making food for the Red Cross Blood Mobile for over 30 years and since Roger’s passing 13 years ago has volunteered at the thrift store in Shawano. Arlene was also a member of the Larrabee Homemaker’s Club for many years. Roger often teased Arlene that he wished she would’ve had a job that paid and her response was that her payment was all the great friends she made over the years. Arlene looked forward to watching the Milwaukee Brewers, the birds in her yard, and was an excellent cook and baker; especially known for her homemade bread. Over the years she enjoyed fishing with her family, bowling, snowmobiling, and playing cards with a lifelong group of friends. The only thing bigger than Arlene’s heart was her faith in her Lord and Savior.
