Elizabeth E. Young passed away Monday February 22, 2021 at Crossroads Care Center in Weyauwega.
Elizabeth was born January 26, 1940 in Bear Creek to Henry and Esther (Wickman) Pelky. She married Norbert Young on May 16, 1958 in Bear Creek. Together they lived in the Township of Maple Creek, Outagamie County on several different dairy farms over the years. Elizabeth worked alongside of Norbert on the farm, was a good wife, and hard working woman. She always had a large garden to help feed the family. In later years when the children were gone she spent many hours with Norbert hunting and fishing. Elizabeth was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bear Creek.

Children: Julia (Patrick) Fenn, Clintonville; Norbert Young, Ohio; Anita (Mike) Kenkel, Colorado; Joseph (Connie) Young, Guam; Carl (Carol) Young, Weyauwega; Richard (Jennifer) Young, Greenville; Patricia Young, Pennsylvania; and William (Sara) Young, Leopolis.
Sister: Shirley (Richard) Willis, Darboy.
Brother: Henry (Karen) Pelky, New London.
Sister-in-law: Winnie Pelky, Kaukauna.
She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and siblings George, William, Harold, Lester, James, Margie, Ruth, and Marie.
A private funeral service will be held for Elizabeth at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bear Creek with Fr. Timothy Shillcox O. Praem officiating.
