Lester “Bud” Ronald Kasper, age 82 of the Township of Larrabee, Waupaca County, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at his home.
Bud was born on April 16, 1928 in New London the son of the late Lester W. and Florence (Hansen) Kasper. He was raised in the Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca County and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1945. On June 3, 1950, Bud married Violet Duerr in Marshfield. The couple lived in the Township of Bear Creek until June of 1967 when they moved to the Township of Larrabee where they have lived since. Bud had worked as a cheese maker with his family at Kasper Cheese Factory for 20 years. He also repaired T.V.’s and had worked at Miller Electric, Appleton. He sold life insurance for A.A.L., now Thrivent Financial, later owning and operating Kasper Insurance in Clintonville for many years. Bud also sold real estate and appraised property in the Clintonville area. He was a member of the St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Bud loved to tinker with anything mechanical. He also enjoyed restoring cars, researching on the computer, and reading.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Sherry.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Christian Burg officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca County.
Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
