Annette K. (Rohan) Moericke

John 16:22 “And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” (KJV)

Annette Kathrine Moericke, aged 44 years young, of the Town of Wyoming went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday August 19, 2019. She was a gift from God to Gerard and Kathleen Rohan on March 8, 1975 and grew up on their farm east of Clintonville with her siblings. Working summers at Glendale Farms and later at Lake Drive Stables enabled her to acquire a cocker spaniel and a horse, which she named Pudge Ann and CinnaBell. At the age of seventeen she made an outward display of her decision to accept Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized by her father in the Embarrass River. She was a home school graduate and worked at Meister Import Motors for a number of years, where she met Royce. They wed and began their new life together on January 20, 1996 and, after a few years and a couple of moves, built and settled into their home in the Town of Wyoming, near the Village of Big Falls. Soon the house was bursting with activity, as their family steadily grew over the years. Annette was busy and loved doing what she felt called to do: being a wife, mother, and keeper of her home. She loved sewing, gardening, and putting up God’s bounty from the garden. She felt truly blessed to have the opportunity to home school her own children. She perfected her own goat milk soap recipes and had her own successful soap making business. She taught her family well in the ways of the Lord. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman! She will be missed greatly by her family.

Survivors include: Her husband Royce.

Children: Adeline (Lucas) Durie, and Jonathan, Timothy, Josiah, Clarice, Asa, Ilana, Anton, Ian, & Micaiah Moericke.

Parents: Gerard and Kathleen (Stilen) Rohan, Sr.

Paternal Grandmother: Ruth Elaine Rohan.

Mother-in-law: Luella (Georgson) Moericke.

Sisters: April (Nathan) Holbrook, Amy (Roy) Piotraschke, Angela (Andy) Benes, Elizabeth Rohan, & Anna Mae Rohan.

Brothers: Gerard "G.B." (Melinda) Rohan, Jr., Aaron (Michelle) Rohan, Daniel Rohan, & Caleb Rohan.

Also numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Those greeting Annette in Heaven include: her maternal grandparents; Merlin & Clara Stilen, her paternal grandfather; Kenneth Rohan, her father-in-law; Roy Moericke, and a brother-in-law; LeRoy Johnson.

A memorial service will be held for Annette on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 3 PM with a potluck meal to follow at 5 PM; please bring a dish to pass. All at Maranatha Baptist Church, W6607 Hwy 156, Shiocton, WI 54170. Private burial will be held at the Big Falls Cemetery in Big Falls.
