Cody Nachtrab Obituary

Cody T. Nachtrab, age 23 of the Town of Deer Creek, Outagamie County, passed away as the result of a house fire early Tuesday morning, March 13, 2018.

Cody was born on March 18, 1994 in Appleton as the son of Lisa (Grobe) Nachtrab and the late Steven “Butch” Nachtrab. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 2014.  Cody absolutely loved tractors. He collected all kinds of backpacks which were usually filled with farm papers.  Cody enjoyed playing with his toy cars, eating, and watching movies; especially Shrek.  His grandfather affectionately gave him the nickname “Bummer” as he liked to go bumming and shopping with his family. Cody also liked to dance and was amused by watching friends workout. Cody was confirmed at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include: His mother: Lisa Nachtrab.

Sister: Dana Nachtrab.

Paternal-Grandparents: Leslie “Papa” & Phyllis “Dear” Nachtrab.

Niece: Cecelia Bodoh.

Nephew: Zavier Gorham.

Aunts & Uncles: Kathy (Blair) Sawall, Vicki (Dan) Klemp, Ron Nachtrab, Renee Henning, Colleen (Jamie) Smiley, & Penney (Ray) Garbe.

Also numerous cousins.

Cody was preceded in death by his father Steven Nachtrab, maternal grandparents; Laurence & Arleen Grobe, and an aunt Christie Nachtrab.

Cody’s memorial service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11 AM at the St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Weber officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Martin Cemetery later in spring. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for his family.
