Doris Mae Malotky, age 87 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Saturday morning, December 30, 2017 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Hortonville.

Doris was born on July 25, 1930 in New Jersey as the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy (Dawson) Swetz. She spent her young adulthood in Woodbridge, NJ where she graduated from high school in 1950 and worked at her father’s grocery store. She went on to further her education at Queens College which led to accounting careers in banking and with Belk’s Dept. Store in North Carolina. Doris was united in marriage to Jack Moore Davis on March 29, 1953. The couple had four children and later divorced. After moving many times in her life; Doris moved with her mother to the Clintonville area in 1979 where she has lived since. In Wisconsin she took classes at Fox Valley Technical College and worked for the library and Tiny Truckers Daycare. She was united in marriage to Wallace Malotky on August 3, 1980 and the couple farmed in the Town of Larrabee outside of Clintonville for many years until retirement. Wallace preceded his wife in death on June 27, 2015. Doris was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville where she was a member of the Choir, Ladies Aid, and Sewing Bee. Pink was her favorite color and she wore it often. Doris loved being around children, working on crafts, and animals; especially dogs. She could be feisty and stubborn at times but had a huge heart, a contagious laugh, and was a Christian woman throughout her life.
