Elaine Louise (Krueger) Migut

Elaine Louise Migut, 90, of Marion, Wisconsin, passed away on March 3, 2017 at her residence.  She was lovingly cared for during her brief illness by her granddaughter, Kimberly Timm.  Elaine was born October 27, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Scholpp/Nagel) Krueger.

Elaine was united in marriage to Roman “Ray” Migut on February 12, 1944 in Chicago. The couple moved to Marion in 1980, and resided in her late parents’ home on Ramsdell, next to Grimm’s Steakhouse; and later moved to Riverview Drive.

She spent her early years in Chicago raising her six children.  During the Depression, she also entered the workforce filling envelopes, as well as making birthday and greeting cards; and later worked at the True Value headquarters in the mail department.

Elaine’s hobbies included crocheting, embroidery, reading, baking and fishing at the Marion Pond.

Elaine’s family was her greatest joy.  She will be greatly missed by her daughters Mary Wiszus, Marion; Alice Washer, Lindenhurst, IL; and Patricia Bianco, Morgan Hill, CA; and her sons Mark (Victoria) Migut, Paisley, FL and Raymond Migut, Morgan Hill, CA.  She is further survived by her sisters Violet Aiello, Loveland, CO and June Martin, Corvallis, OR; nephew Charles Criscuolo and 120 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roman; daughter Louise McGlin; twin sister Lorraine Criscuolo; grandchildren Marcus, David, Larry Jr. and Gabriel; sons-in-law Michael Wiszus and Raymond Washer; and brothers-in-law Matthew, Paul, Edwin and Chester.

A private graveside inurnment will take place at Roseland Cemetery, Town of Dupont, in the spring.
