Gary Pfefferle Obituary

Gary W. Pfefferle, age 48 of the Town of Bear Creek, went home to God on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay.

Gary Wayne Pfefferle was born January 21, 1970 in Appleton, the son of James “Jim” & Marlene (Bergstrom) Pfefferle. He attended school in Bear Creek and later Clintonville, where he was active with the high school wrestling team. After high school, Gary started working for Krause Publications, Iola for a time; and later for American Printers, Black Creek. Gary, along with his father and brothers, founded Playaway Toy Co. Inc., operating out of Bear Creek, designing and building indoor play equipment. He enjoyed the traveling he was able to do while promoting his family’s company. Gary also enjoyed fishing with his family, riding ATVs, snowmobiling, and cheering on his Green Bay Packers. He was a gifted gardener, and especially liked to grow horseradish to spread on the pickled eggs he enjoyed. Gary was quite skilled at completing complex jig-saw puzzles; the whole family also enjoyed the puzzles. He was always a big jokester, and rarely took things too seriously; his heart was big and his generosity toward family and friends was unmatched. Gary was always dreaming big and making plans to achieve his goals. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.
