Ken was born on August 16, 1934 in the Town of Matteson, Waupaca County as the son of the late Walter C. and Carrie (Euhardy) Krueger. During high school, Ken enjoyed running track, high hurdles, and playing football for the Truckers. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1952 and went on to serve his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. On June 22, 1957 Ken was united in marriage to Dorothy Krueger in Navarino. The couple moved to Muskego and soon after Milwaukee where Ken worked construction with Savoris and later Arby Construction. Dorothy preceded Ken in death on December 26, 1997. Ken then moved back home in 2001 and was married to Arbutus “Dolly” (Thompson) Seelig on February 2, 2002 at the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville where the couple were active members for many years. Dolly also preceded him in death on February 21, 2016. Ken was a member of the VFW Post #664 in Clintonville where among other things, he helped with numerous military graveside honors for fellow veterans over the years. He loved polka music and was still listening to some the last few days. His grandchildren & great-grandchildren often caught him cheating during a heated game of checkers with his sly smile. He loved spending time with them and simply being around his family.
