Linda C. (Corris) Pastovic

Linda C. (Corris) Pastovic, age 62 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her husband and two children following a long 7 year battle with cancer.

Linda was born on March 7, 1957 in Teaneck, NJ as the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Ziesing) Corris. She graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor Degree in Special Education and then graduated from Georgian Court University with her Masters Degree. On October 24, 1987 Linda was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Pastovic, Jr. in Point Pleasant, NJ. Linda’s career as a Special Education Teacher spanned 38 years. She enjoyed many things throughout her life including cross-stitch and caning chairs. Linda loved being around her family; especially going on motorcycle rides with Chuck and spending time with her granddaughter, Sophia.

Survivors include: Her Husband of 38 years: Charles “Chuck” Pastovic, Jr.

Son: Charles Pastovic III.

Daughter: Lindsay (Solomon) Mahoney.

Granddaughter: Sophia Mahoney.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial gathering will be held for Linda on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 12 – 3:30 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, 53 N. Main Street, Clintonville. A eulogy will be read by Shannon Pastovic beginning at 3:30 PM Sunday. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
