Margaret "Marge" Johnson Obituary

Margaret “Marge” J. Johnson, age 91 of Clintonville passed away Thursday evening June 6, 2019 at the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

Margaret was born on April 24, 1928 in Stevens Point as the daughter of the late Michael and Violet (Woyak) Helinski. She graduated from Stevens Point High School in 1946. Margaret was united in marriage to LeRoy Johnson. The couple resided in Stevens Point prior to moving to Clintonville in the early 1950s. Together they raised 3 children and later divorced. Margaret worked at the Clock Factory  and later worked as a waitress and cook for Jerry & Pat’s Café in town. She was a faithful member of St. Rose Catholic Church ever since moving to Clintonville; working in the St. Rose School Library. Margaret enjoyed sewing, and loved taking walks in Olen Park. She had a severe dislike for hairnets that actually cost her 2 jobs. Margaret loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed taking care of them over the years.

Survivors include:

Her Children: Diane (Tom) Stueck; Daniel Johnson; & Sandy (Bruce) Heimbruch.

Grandchildren: Tommy (Denise) Stueck, Jr; John (Kay Kristof) Stueck; Danielle Johnson; Bruce Heimbruch, Jr; & Matthew (Grace Claussen) Heimbruch.

Great-Grandchildren: Tommy Stueck III, Isabella, Wolfgang, Allison, & Natalie.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Margie Johnson, and sisters; Marie (Barnaby) Schultz & Dorothy (Carl) Brill.

A private remembrance will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church and inurnment will take place at the parish cemetery. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Clintonville is assisting her family.

Margaret's family would like to thank the staff at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation, as well as ThedaCare Medical Centers in Shawano and Neenah for the wonderful care they gave Margaret during her stay.
