Andy (David) Lee Pauls, age 78 of Marion died peacefully at home as he wished on August 17, 2024.
He was born on June 9, 1946 at home in Shawano County as the son of the late Andrew and Esther (Schmidt) Pauls. Andy was united in marriage to Linda Felts on January 23, 1965. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force; serving from 1964 thru 1968. Andy worked at Marion Body Works for 43 years as an assembler, welder, and lead man. He was also a retired member of the Marion Fire Department and a past member of the Marion Lions Club. Andy enjoyed camping every summer, bird watching, and playing games on his IPad. Throughout his life he was a jokester with a quick wit and sense of humor that made everyone laugh. He enjoyed helping people out and visiting with them. Andy enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting in his younger years. He always seemed to be fixing something. Andy was also known to be a tad OCD; as his family kidded about with him often. He enjoyed going for walks with Linda around town carrying their infamous walking sticks. Above all else, family and especially his kids and grandkids were of the utmost importance to him throughout his life.
