Arleen A. Kauffman, age 84 of the Town of Morris, Shawano County, passed away on Thursday evening August 3, 2023 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Shawano.
Arleen Ann Kauffman was born September 17, 1938 near Wittenberg, WI; daughter to the late August & Anna (Tiede) Schumacher. She graduated from high school in 1956 and was united in marriage to Charles Kauffman Jr. on May 3, 1958 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The couple started a family and worked and lived on Charles’ home dairy farm. After Charles passed away in 1973, Arleen had a farm to run and five children to raise. She supported the family and the farm with strength and grace until she was about 65 years old, when she transferred the majority of the day to day operation to her son Dennis. She really enjoyed traveling, going on a few cruises and seeing places around the United States. She was a big Green Bay Packer backer and loyal Milwaukee Brewers fan. Arleen will be remembered for her love of animals, her strength in times of trial, as a hard-worker, and her great sense of humor.
Arleen is survived by her:
Children: Dennis Kauffman, Tigerton; Diane (Francis) Korbisch, Birnamwood; Sandra (Craig Enders) Kauffman, Sheboygan; Judy (Lonnie) Bernarde, Eland; Joni (Mike) Frederick, Hobart
