Barbara "Barb" Ann (Olson) Dieterich

Barbara A. Dieterich, age 75 of the Town of Dupont, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Oakhaven Assisted Living, Shawano.

Barbara “Barb” Ann Dieterich was born September 18, 1949 in Clintonville, WI, daughter to the late Stanley & Lorraine (Selinski) Olson. She graduated from Marion High School with the class of 1967. Barb was united in marriage to David M. Dieterich on October 28, 1972 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marion, where they were members. She enjoyed volunteering at church and spending time with her faith family. She worked at the Marion Vet Office for many years, but also enjoyed being a mother to her girls, staying home with them when she could. Barb loved anything crafty: sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and even calligraphy. She enjoyed gardening and spending as much time as possible with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Barb is survived by her husband, David 
Daughters: Katie Dieterich, Sparks, NV; Kris (Chad) Akstulewicz, Clintonville; & Kristel (James) Spaulding, Clintonville
Grandchildren: Abbi, Collin, Rhys, & Mikayla
Sisters: Terrie Kersten; Mary Olson, & Connie (Dave) Anderson

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday February 18, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marion, with Fr. Matthew Settle officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 9 AM until the time of service.

The Dieterich family would like to thank the staff of Oakhaven Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice for their exceptional care.
