Beverly Jean (Finnell) Rhodes

Beverly J. Rhodes, age 90, of Waupaca, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening December 6, 2023 at Bethany Home in Waupaca surrounded by her family.

Beverly Jean Rhodes was born March 5, 1933 in Green Bay, daughter to the late Clarence and Elinor (Mulnarek) Finnell of Green Bay. On October 3, 1958, she was united in marriage to William D. Rhodes in Stillwater, MN. Beverly graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Green Bay. After graduation, she taught ballet at a dance studio in Chicago, IL for a short time. Beverly loved to sing along with her classical music and even with her dementia, could remember all the words. She enjoyed decorating her home, cooking, baking and cleaning. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her many pets.

She is survived by her children: Angela Rhodes, Holly (Steve) Reinke of Clintonville, and Brad (Nikki) Rhodes of Waupaca. She has seven grandchildren:  Sussanah (Paul) Herrick, Stephen (Elisabeth) Reinke, Stacy (Matt) Rueb, Sarah (Jordan) Garrison, Abbey Mattes, Madeline Rhodes, Brady Rhodes, and two Great-Grandchildren along with many nieces & nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, William Rhodes;  one brother & sister-in-law, William & Judith Finnell.

A special thank you to the  wonderful staff at Bethany Home that have cared for Beverly for the last several years. We would also like to thank the health care providers at ThedaCare Hospice.

The family will be holding a private funeral service at a later date.
