Cathy M. Quaintance, age 66, passed away on Friday, Sep. 19, 2025 at the Clark County Rehabilitation & Living Center, Owen.
Cathy M. Quaintance was born on Jan. 27, 1959 to Norman and Val Jean (Tyler) Quaintance Sr. She lived a quiet and gentle life. She spent her years in the care of compassionate staff where she was cared for with kindness and respect. Though her life was different from many, she was cherished and valued by those who knew her. Her caregivers remarked on her ever-present smile and how she found joy in holding comforting items in her hands. Her presence brought a quiet grace, and she will be remembered for the simple joys and moments she shared.
Survivors include five siblings; Gordon (Valerie) of Clintonville, Randy (Carren) of Clintonville, Chris (Sara) of Bonduel, Terry (Julie) of Bear Creek, and Tina Durkey (Jeremy) of Mountain.
There are two sisters-in law; Carolyn Quaintance of Clintonville and Becky Quaintance of New London; and two brothers-in-law, Joe Dawiedczyk of Appleton and Darryell Figlinski of Navarino
along with many nieces and nephews.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters Candy Quaintance (her twin), Tammy Berry, Robin Dawiedczyk, and Susan Figlinski; and three brothers Wesley “Butch”, Norman Jr.,
and Dennis.
A small, private service will be held. Burial will be at Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. Cathy’s family is deeply grateful to the many caregivers who showed her such kind and loving care throughout the years.
