Clarence A. Schroeder, age 82 of Clintonville passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 1, 2021 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.
Clarence Albert Schroeder was born February 2, 1938 to Albert and Adela (Essman) Schroeder in Clintonville. Clarence grew up working on his family farm in the Town of Larrabee, Waupaca County. He served his country in the Army National Guard and at age 26 was united in marriage to Diann Kuhn on October 14, 1967. The couple raised two children Dean and Wendy on the farm where they resided for 48 years. Clarence was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with all of his grandchildren. Clarence also enjoyed feeding the birds, squirrels, and dogs; including his grandpuppies.
Survivors include: His wife of 53 years: Diann (Kuhn) Schroeder.
Children: Dean (Heather) Schroeder & Wendy (Roger) Perry.
3 Grandchildren: Kaytlin (Garrett) Gabrielson, and Carson & Jayda Perry.
1 Great-grandchild: Oaklyn Keller.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and 2 grandchildren; Aiden & Orien Perry.
He will be deeply missed by family, friends, all his birds, squirrels, and grandpuppies.
A memorial service will be held at a later date along with inurnment at Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville. Military honors will be conducted by members of the Clintonville American Legion Post #63, VFW Post #664, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit #63.
