Cynthia earned an Associate Degree in Police Science and began her career as an officer for Clintonville Police Department and later for Marion Police Department. Later she served as the clerk for the City of Marion. Cynthia liked traveling and going on cruises with Merlin; especially during their retirement. He taught her how to drive a tractor, and she loved driving them in the Embarrass Fun Daze Parade with her family. Cynthia was constantly decorating their house for all seasons.
