Cynthia "Cindy" Jean (Werth) Vollmer

Cynthia J. Vollmer, age 70 of Marion, passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2024 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.
 
Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Vollmer was born December 5, 1953 in Clintonville, WI daughter to the late Ward & Margaret (Gyrion) Werth. Cindy was united in marriage to Leon Vollmer in July 1973. They started their lives on a farm in Clintonville, WI and later moved to Marion, WI. On their farm in Marion, they raised three children and many animals. Cindy worked most her life in childcare and later in life helped with the Amish community, always giving the Amish kids smartie candies whenever she could. 
 
Survivors include her husband: Leon. 
Daughters: Nikole (Jason) Peterson & Samantha (Rich) Griesser 
Son: Justin (Laurie) Vollmer
Grandchildren: Brady and Hunter Peterson, Isaac and Eloise Griesser, Wesling and Nevaeh Vollmer 
Brothers: Bill, Dean and Dennis (Diane) Werth
Sisters: Renee (Ron) Valley, Jackie (Rusty) Huebner, Denise (Mike) Magolski, Joyce (Rick) Huss & Sarah Knowlton 
Brother-in-law: Lenny (Gail) Vollmer
Sisters-in-law: Connie Werth & Lana Werth 
Special loved ones: Mary, Robin, Rusty, & Bruce (Lisa) Romberg, & Jill (Steve) Sether.  
Many other family members, nieces, nephews and special friends.  Cindy came from a large family so we are sorry if we forgot to mention anyone. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ward and Rex; sister, Connie; and granddaughter, Lilah Griesser. 

A gathering of family and friends for a celebration of life, will be held September 28th 2024 from 1pm-4pm at E6778 Neitzke Road Marion, WI. 

The family would like to thank all the staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton; ThedaCare At-Home Hospice; & Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and for the care provided to our beloved Cindy.
