Daniel “Bullet” S. Bohm, age 72 of the Town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County passed away at his home on Tuesday afternoon December 16, 2025.
Daniel Scott Bohm was born on March 16, 1953 in Shawano as the son of the late Willard and Beatrice (Singer) Bohm. As a young boy while working on a neighboring farm he said he was fast as a speeding bullet and hence earned the nickname Bullet from then on. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1971. From there, Bullet enlisted to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era; serving as an MP in Okinawa. He was united in marriage to Patricia “Patty” Heling on June 27, 1981 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. The couple more recently joined St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville. Bullet worked for the Equity in Shawano prior to his employment at Ardex All American Mineral in Shawano. Bullet’s younger years were spent spending time outdoors ice fishing, and hunting for deer and pheasants. He always had fun spending time with friends and family at the hunting cabin in the swamp. In more recent years, Bullet enjoyed spending time in his garage with a cold beer. He was a jokester who was always able to make everyone smile, had a remarkable memory, and was great at helping his family with math.
Survivors include: His Wife: Patricia “Patty” Bohm.
Children: Taylor (Rachel Lohrengel) Bohm & Maggie Bohm.
Siblings: Randall (Mary) Bohm & Sherry Hoffman.
Also his Grandpups: Pickles & Frankie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Beatrice Bohm. Also waiting for him is his dearly loved bulldog, Finley.
