Danny Steven Wedde Sr.

Danny S. Wedde Sr., age 58 of the Township of Larrabee, passed away on Friday morning May 12, 2023 at his home after a battle with cancer.

Danny Steven Wedde Sr. was born September 7, 1964 in Clintonville, WI, son to the late Herman F. & Ealta A. (Jenke) Wedde. He graduated from Clintonville High School with the class of 1983. He was employed at Walker Forge, Clintonville and worked as the 3rd shift maintenance supervisor up until recently. He was united in marriage to Catherine Wheeler on May 23, 1987 at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Danny enjoyed side-work at Rosenow farms, along with some other operations. After 40 years at Walker Forge, he was forced to retire because of his health. When he wasn’t working, Danny enjoyed hunting both deer and bear, fishing, and camping near Carrol Lake up by Minocqua. He will be remembered by friends and family as a reliable, hard-working, honest person who would never pass up an opportunity to help friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 36 years, Cathy

Grandchildren: Maliki, Zoie, Wyatt, Kayleigh, Kaine, Kaleb, Olivia, Karmin, Layla, Rylee, Nellie, Millie, Elijah, Landin, Login, Zena, & Paytin
Sisters: Gladys, Gloria, Rosemary, Linda, Brenda, & Virginia
Brother: Chester

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Benjamin, Archie, Ralph, & Edward.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville. 

Visitation will take place on Friday at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of service.
