Darry “Babe” D. Thompson, age 58 of Clintonville, passed away Wednesday evening, May 13, 2020 at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.
Darry “Babe” Donald Thompson was born February 11, 1962 in Kenosha, WI, the 14th child of the late Harvey & Dorothy (Davison) Thompson. After graduating from Clintonville High School, Babe proudly served as a medic in the Wisconsin National Guard. He worked numerous jobs, enjoying the Dairyland Greyhound Race Track in Kenosha the most. He will be remembered for his giving heart; after his wife passed away in 2004, he sent thousands of dollars out to charities around the nation, including the Hurricane Katrina Fund. Babe enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, music, boxing, Canasta, and beer.

Numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda; infant son, Michael Perry Thompson; brothers, Harry Thompson, Perry Thompson, Barry Thompson, & Gary Thompson; sisters, Barbara Alleman & Marsha Krause; & a nephew, Steven Rohde.
A private family graveside service, followed by interment, will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville, with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating.
