David W. Dey, age 57 of Marion passed away Monday January 1, 2024 at the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
David was born on October 15, 1966 as the son of the late Robert and Gladys (Parker) Dey. He graduated from Tigerton High School in 1985 and worked as a saw operator at Hillshire Farms in New London for 27 years. David then worked for Equity Livestock Exchange in Marion helping wherever needed. He was a volunteer member of the Dupont Fire Department and a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Big Falls where he enjoyed helping with their brat fry fundraisers. David enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of his spare time hunting, fishing, riding his atv, ice racing, and enduro racing. He loved his nieces and nephews very much and looked forward to spending time with all of his extended family.
Survivors include:
Sisters: Margie (Randy) Dahl, Doris (Les) Wilson, and Tammy Dankert.
Nieces & Nephews: Zach (Carlie) Wilson, Russell Dankert, Jacob (Sondra) Dankert, Jake Wilson, Michael, Bobbi Jo, and Keith Stepnowski, also great-nieces and great-nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Gladys Dey, and a great-niece Olivia Jane Wilson.
David’s memorial service will be held Saturday January 13, 2024 at 11am at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory (SOUTH LOCATION) 299 S. Main Street, Clintonville with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9am until the time of service.
