Delores Clara (Bartz) Knapp

Delores C. Knapp, age 90 of Clintonville, passed away on Saturday evening March 1, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Oshkosh, WI.

Delores Clara Knapp was born April 14, 1934 in the Town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, daughter to the late Edward & Edna (Westphal) Bartz. She attended Shawano schools and later was united in marriage to Garland Knapp on May 10, 1952 at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, where she was a lifelong member. She lived and worked on the couple’s dairy farm near Bear Creek for many years and later worked for Simmons in New London retiring in 1999. She then moved to Clintonville where she has lived since. Delores will be remembered for her work ethic, her creativity and the way she cared about others.

She is survived by her children: Tammy (Charles) Norton, Oshkosh & Dennis Knapp, Wild Rose
Grandchildren: Jake (Dawn) Southard, Dusty (Connie) Southard, Kimberly (Jon) Ostrowski, & Susan (Matt) Butkiewicz
Great-grandchildren: Marissa, Madison, Bradley, Lincoln, & Finn
Many nieces, nephew, and cousins

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garland; sister, Dorothy Bruette; and brother, William Bartz Sr.

A graveside committal with urn burial will be held 11 AM on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville with the Rev. Shelly Klemp officiating.
