Dennis L. Anderson, age 76, passed away Monday March 4, 2024 in the Township of Polar, Langlade County.
Dennis Lee Anderson was born December 21, 1947, son of Clarice M. (nee. Hansen) Block. After graduation from high school, Dennis was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he was stationed overseas in Germany. After an honorable discharge, he moved back to the area and was united in marriage to Lois M. Stenson at the Shawano County Courthouse on March 29, 1977; they settled in the Tigerton area. The couple started a family and in the early years made many great memories while traveling. Dennis was at home in the great outdoors. He enjoyed trout fishing and small game hunting for many years. He spent a lot of time at home with their children and was always there for them. Lois preceded him in death on January 7, 2016. His love of coffee was noteworthy among friends and family. His absolute joy was the time he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by:
Children: Andrea Miller, Wausau; & Eric Anderson, Antigo
Grandchildren: Deanna, Alexis, Colton, Kaden, Leah, Stewart, & Klyde
Brothers: Allen (Darlene) Anderson, Darell (Mary Ann) Anderson, Ronald Anderson, & Michael Anderson
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Clarice Block; and his wife, Lois.
A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at a future date.
