Diane M. (Campbell) Johnson

Diane Marie (Campbell) Johnson, age 75 of Crandon passed away Wednesday morning August 16, 2023 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. 

Diane was born January 18, 1948 in New London, the first child of Lawrence and Donabell (Meyer) Campbell. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1966 and began working at AAL (now Thrivent) in Appleton. She was married to James L. Johnson on May 15, 1971 in Iron Mountain, MI. They enjoyed camping, skiing, and traveling. In 1985 Diane began working for the City of Appleton and retired in 2010. Jim passed away on April 9, 2016. In 2017 Diane moved to their cottage in the northwoods, which they loved. She enjoyed watching the wildlife, campfires, and was an avid reader. 

Diane is survived by: Her Daughter: Erica (Mike) Tiedt.
Her Son: Grant Johnson.
5 Grandchildren she was so proud of: Christian, Nolan, Riley, Alaina, & Isla Tiedt.
Her Brothers-in-law: John (Sandy) Johnson & Jay Johnson.
2 Nieces: Jennifer (Dennis) Bannon & Jill (Steve) Petersen.
A Cousin: Karen Francis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, infant son Wade, and brothers Curtis & Carson Campbell.

A memorial gathering will be held for Diane on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Mathew’s Supper Club, 155 8th Street, Clintonville, WI 54929 from 12pm – 3pm.
