Donna K. (Spreeman) Carrigg

Donna K. Carrigg, age 61 of the Town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County passed away Friday afternoon April 7, 2023 at Peabody Manor in Appleton.

Donna Kaye Spreeman was born on September 28, 1961 in Shawano as the daughter of Linda (Stern) Spreeman and the late Floyd Spreeman. She graduated from Bonduel High School in 1978 and was united in marriage to Mark Carrigg on October 16, 1989 in Waupaca. Donna was never one to shy away from work. She started out young; working on her family’s farm near Bonduel. Over the years she was a waitress and bartender for the Clintonville Riverside Golf Course, tended bar at The Rustics and Shamrock on Cloverleaf Lakes, worked at Converting Inc., was a waitress at Perkins in Shawano, and finished her working career at Kwik Trip in Clintonville. As a waitress and bartender, Donna loved to banter back and forth with all the patrons. In her spare time, she loved reading books and spending time outside; especially if she could be near a lake on a hot summer day. Donna was her boy's number one fan at all of their school sporting events and more recently enjoyed spending time taking care of her nieces, nephews, and her pups.

Her Sons: Lucas (Brittany Bouchette) Carrigg & Darin Carrigg.

Mother: Linda Spreeman.

Siblings: Richard (Lori) Spreeman, Ken (Linda) Spreeman, & Jane (Rick Tonn) Spreeman.

Dog: Bella & grand puppies Reggie & Finnegan.

Donna was preceded in death by her father Floyd Spreeman and her husband Mark Carrigg in 2015.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 10am – 12pm Saturday April 15, 2023 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Donna’s family for a memorial yet to be determined. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
