Doris Mae (Johnson) Frost

Doris M. Frost, age 90 of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Evergreen Retirement Community, Oshkosh. 

Doris Mae Frost was born in Clintonville, WI to the late John A. and Effie (Shingler) Johnson on May 8, 1930. She went to high school at Clintonville High and graduated in 1948. Doris was united in marriage to William B. Frost in Clintonville, WI. She loved gardening and flowers. Doris was a gifted crafter and was known for what she has sewn. Doris had many sewing machines; on which, she made quilts and pillows for everyone. She made so many pillows for people last year, that Evergreen posted a picture of her with a load of pillows she was donating on their facebook page. She loved traveling by car to see everything and she was always surrounded by animals throughout her life.

Doris is survived by her eight children, Joy (Robert) of Oshkosh, William J of Oshkosh, Jackie of Greendale, Mark (Renee) of Wauwatosa, Jeffrey of Brookfield, Jill (Chris) of Oshkosh, Jay (Karen) of Oshkosh, Jodi (Jon) of Dale.
15 grandchildren, Scott, Stephan, Michael, Carrie, Jamie, Kevin, Steffany, Colby, Brittany, Beau, Dannielle, Mitchell, Alexander, William and Cooper.
Along with many dearly loved (25) great-grandchildren and (4) great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William B, her sister Becky, sister Joan, brother Reginald, and both of her parents.

An interment with graveside committal will be held Friday May 7, 2021 at 11:00 am at Greenleaf Cemetery in Marion, WI with Pastor Jill Meyer of Christ Congregational UCC Church, officiating. Gathering in honor will commence at 10:30 am prior to the service.
