Dorothy L. Tischauser

Dorothy L. Tischauser, age 74, of W11696 Swamp Road, Marion, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton, WI following a two month illness with cancer.
The former Dorothy Lorraine Schmidt was born June 3, 1931 in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Dieck) Schmidt. Dorothy was a lifetime resident of the Marion area, and was united in marriage to Herbert C. Tischauser on June 27, 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church, Marion. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Marion, where she had taught Sunday school, did quilting, and was a church volunteer. Dorothy was a member of St. John WELCA, the Marion Lioness Club, the Marion Homemakers, and enjoyed sewing, and dancing.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay (Allen) Kraeger, Waupaca, and Amy (Jeff) Asenbrener, Neenah. Three grandchildren, Amanda (Jesus) Septimo, Elizabeth (Andrew) Schulz, and Peter Kraeger (fianc, Caroline Solomon). There are two great-grandchildren, Alea Marecek and Quinn Schulz. Brothers and sisters, include Clifford Schmidt, Marion, Delores (Albert) Krueger, Marion, Glenn (Myra) Schmidt, Appleton, Diane (Randy) Arndt, Marion, Harold (Jeanne) Schmidt, Marion, and one sister-in-law, Jeanette Schmidt, Jacksonville, FL. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, one brother, Roy W. Schmidt, and one grandson, Adam Asenbrener.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, Marion. Rev. Susan Sheffer-Meyer and Rev Tom Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity-St. John Cemetery, Town of Dupont. Friends may call Tuesday, April 18, 2006 from 4 to 8 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, and Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services at the church.
