Duane "Tex" R. Parczick

Duane “Tex” R. Parczick, age 84 of Tigerton passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 2, 2024. 

Duane Robert Parczick was born on April 28, 1940 in Marinette as the son of the late Andrew and Lorraine (Perkins) Parczick. From an early age he was affectionately called “Tex” as he loved wearing cowboy hats. On September 25, 1971 Duane was united in marriage to Joyce Michalski at the United Methodist Church in Clintonville. The couple lived near Clintonville and moved to Marion prior to Joyce’s passing in 1987. Duane then lived in Caroline and most recently moved to Tigerton. He worked for many years at Marion Plywood until his retirement. Duane loved his family, taking care of his dogs, working on his cars and later drawing antique cars, and watching the Packers or a good western movie on tv.

His Son: Jeffery (Melissa “Missy”) Parczick.
Step-Son: Raymond (Jill) Hill.
Granddaughter: Sierra Parczick.
Step-Grandchildren: Leslie, Martin, & Nicole Hill and Krissy Schofield.
Step-Great-Grandchildren: Exavier, Payton (Lexi), & Angelica Dimick and Zach (Claine) Shaw.
Step-Great-Great-Grandson: Axcel Jay Shaw.
Brothers: Ralph (Linda) and Wayne Parczick.
Also other relatives and friends and his beloved dogs Bonnie, Suzie, Peanut, & Cooper.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandmother who raised him, his wife Joyce Parczick, and his daughter Louise Parczick.

A memorial service for Duane will be held at 11am on Friday October 4, 2024 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory SOUTH LOCATION (299 S. Main Street, Clintonville, WI 54929). Visitation will take place beginning at 10am and inurnment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
