Elda M. Lapp, age 86 years, of Clintonville passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville, where she has resided the past two years.
The former Elda Marie Pesch was born September 8, 1919 in the Town of Grant, Shawano County, to the late Reinhold and Anna (Pranke) Pesch. She was united in marriage on Nov. 11, 1937 to George B. Lapp in Waukesha. The couple made their home in the Waukesha area for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family. Elda settled in Clintonville in the early 1980's. For over 20 years she lived at Sun Valley Manor, Clintonville.
Survivors include three children; Donald (Maggie) Lapp of Clintonville, Terry (Maryann) Lapp of Waukesha, and Bonnie (friend Jesse) Lapp of Shawano. Two daughters-in-law, Nancy Lapp of Pewaukee and Jamie Lapp of Madison. There are eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Further survived by two sisters, Hildegarde Steinfest of Shawano and Myra Zirnhelt of Waupaca, many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, two sons, Roland & C. Kenneth, one brother, Herman Pesch, two brothers-in-law, Jim Steinfest & Charles Zirnhelt.
The family wishes to especially thank the nurses and staff of Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center and Heartland Home Health Care & Hospice.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Caroline. Rev. William Schruba will officiate. The Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent via www.beil-didier.com
