Elizabeth "Lisa" Anderson Obituary

Elizabeth (Lisa) Anderson, age 84, Marion, WI (formally of Appleton) passed into the loving arms of Jesus, peacefully at home on March 17, 2021. She was born in Hanau, Germany on Sept. 21,1936 to William and Elsabeth Ambron. She met her late husband, Leonard, while he was serving in the United States Army in Germany. They were married on Nov. 17, 1956 and  moved to LaCrosse, WI. Lisa was a speaker with the organization, Christian Women’s Club for over 30 years. She traveled to many cities throughout the Midwest, sharing her story of coming to America and her love for Jesus. Lisa was most often found in her kitchen as she loved to cook for her family and friends. She will be remembered as wearing her apron, standing beside Len, ready to welcome others to their home and to serve them with a joyful heart. She will be so greatly missed but her family rejoices that she is finally with her beloved Savior and her “Mr. Wonderful” Len.

Lisa is survived by two daughters, Beth (Jeff) Mielke, Debbie(Ron)Bedway, and her son, Dave(Marylu)Anderson.

Grandchildren include: Jenni(Ben)Brandt, Kim(Anthony)Hundley,
Matt(Ellen)Mielke, AJ (Katie)Anderson and Nick Anderson, as well as nine Great-Grandchildren.

She is also survived by two brother and sister-in-laws; Bob and Mary Johnson and Keith and Nancy Mauch and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and one brother.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lisa’s daily caregiver, Julie Werth and her Hospice nurses, Roxanne and Katie from ThedaCare Hospice At Home who showed her love and compassion during the past year.
