Ervin Briske Obituary

Ervin A. Briske, age 88 of the Town of Grant, Shawano County passed away Friday evening October 2, 2020 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.

Ervin Alfred Briske was born on May 27, 1932 in the Town of Pella, Shawano County as the son of the late Donald and Amanda (Suehring) Briske. He attended grade school in the Town of Pella and later moved to Milwaukee where he was employed at Louis Allis. Ervin was united in marriage to Shirley Genskow on February 28, 1954. He then farmed on the family farm in the Town of Grant where they have resided since. In his spare time Ervin loved being outdoors; especially fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant.

Survivors include: His wife: Shirley
Children: Mike (Lynn) Briske, Beth (Harold) Steenbock, Tom (Gloria) Briske, and Barb (David) Kortbein.
5 Grandchildren: Ryan & Kelly Briske, Tasha Whitcomb, Derek Briske, and Nicky Engel.
6 Great-Grandchildren

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, sisters Joyce & Deloris, and a brother Carl.

A private family graveside service will be held for Ervin at the Greenleaf Cemetery in Marion with Rev. Dean Suehring officiating. His family would like to thank the staff members of Evergreen Health Care Center and ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano for the wonderful care he received.
