Erwin Muschkat, age 75 of Clintonville passed away unexpectedly at his home early Wednesday morning August 21, 2024.
Erwin was born in Salzburg, Austria on September 4, 1948 as the son of the late Josef and Eva Panic. At the age of 10 he moved with his family to Chicago, IL. Erwin was united in marriage to Vickie Yaeger on August 26, 1988 in Des Plaines, IL and the couple moved to Clintonville shortly after where they have resided since. Erwin worked at Hillshire in a number of departments and also worked for other local businesses and factories over the years. He retired in 2010. Erwin’s nature was to keep to himself. He enjoyed watching old westerns or science fiction movies and working on his vehicles. More recently Erwin enjoyed swimming and taking walks with Vickie.
Survivors include: His wife: Vickie
Children: Arthur and Lianne Muschkat.
Children from a previous marriage: Joe (Karen) Muschkat, Debbie (Nick) Zarbock, and Kevin (Anne) Muschkat.
Also several grandchildren.
Erwin was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister Ella Martin.
Per Erwin’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.
