Eugene L. Roehl, age 90 of Clintonville passed away Friday morning July 19, 2024 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.
Eugene Leonard Roehl was born on March 22, 1934 as the son of the late Leo and Bernice (Tornow) Roehl. He married his wife Jean Reinke on May 16, 1953 at the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville where he was an active member and enjoyed serving as an usher over the years. After graduating from Clintonville High School Eugene was involved with farming, worked at the Hortonville Toy Factory, FWD Seagrave in Clintonville, then Noritage where he upholstered for a time prior to opening his own business of Roehl’s Upholstering. He enjoyed hunting bear and deer with his sons and grandsons and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: His Sons: Dennis (Elaine) & Brian (Diane) Roehl.
Daughters-in-law: Fay Roehl & Lisa (Richard) Stueck.
Grandchildren: Fawn Kratzke, Adam (Ashley) Roehl, Derek (Taylor) Roehl, Brittney Roehl, and Nikki Roehl.
Step-Granddaughters: Erin, Amber, and Kimber Shepard.
Numerous Great-Grandchildren.
Sisters-in-law: Darlene & Wanda Roehl.
Also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Bernice Roehl, wife Jean in 2021, sons Kevin and Randal “Rudy” Roehl, a daughter-in-law Marylu Roehl, and brothers John and Leroy Roehl.
Eugene’s funeral service will be held Wednesday July 24, 2024 at 2pm at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory SOUTH LOCATION, 299 S. Main Street, Clintonville, WI 54929 with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12pm until the time of service. www.eberhardtstevenson.com
