Gary Neil Jacobsen

Gary N. Jacobsen, age 70 of the Township of Dupont, Waupaca County, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 12, 2024 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah. He is permanently "resting his eyes".

Gary Neil Jacobsen was born August 23, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI, son to the late Broder & Ruth Luethi (nee. Ball) Jacobsen. He was united in marriage to Deborah “Deb” J. Johnson on January 10, 1976 in Edmonds, WA. Gary and Deb have been living in the Marion area since 1996. He worked as a truck driver, retiring in 2020. Gary loved working on and fixing things; ever the backyard mechanic. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and discussing world events. Gary was passionate about helping others in need. He was the glue that helped hold the family together and wanted his loved ones to be happy and healthy in life.

Great-grandchildren: Sophia, Emma, Madeline, Maverick & Melody
Siblings: John (Donna) Jacobsen, Prescott, AZ & Jagene (Frank) Korth, Dewey, AZ
Sister-in-law: Linda Jacobsen
A special niece: Laura Korth

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Jacobsen.

A celebration of life will be held at 12 PM on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Gary’s home.

The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Marion is assisting the Jacobsen family.
