Gary R. Zschaechner, age 68 of Clintonville passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening March 5, 2025 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in New London.
Gary Ronald Zschaechner was born on December 29, 1956 in New London as the son of the late Milton and Beatrice (Lamaere) Zschaechner. As a young child his family started out in Shiocton but moved to the Clintonville area where he graduated from high school in 1975. Gary was united in marriage to Teri Johnson on November 26, 1977. The couple had 4 children and later divorced. Gary worked various jobs over the years but eventually came back to his passion of farming. For the past 11 years Gary was blessed to share his life with his significant other, Amanda Thebo. The couple enjoyed trips to Washington Island and fishing and camping together. He loved taking his motorcycle for rides and had a great sense of humor. His distinct laugh lives on in his sons Kevin and Brenen.

Children: Heidi (Jimmy) Green, Kristel (Matt) Galland, Nathan (Melissa) Zschaechner, Kevin (Sherry) Zschaechner, Landon Thebo, and Brenen Zschaechner.
Sisters: Ellen (Jay) Jaquet and Joy (John) Tyson.
Brothers: David (Significant Other Linda) Zschaechner, Paul (Marisa) Zschaechner, and Roger (Diana) Zschaechner.
Also numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Beatrice Zschaechner.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday March 11, 2025 at 12pm at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory (South Location 299 S. Main Street, Clintonville) with Rev. Caleb Rothfuss officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Ellington Cemetery in the Town of Ellington. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10am until the time of service.
