Glenn Merlyn Wilke, age 73, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, November 2, 2020 at The Pines Post-Acute & Memory Care, Embarrass, WI.
Glenn was born on December 25, 1946 in Clintonville, WI to the late Edward and Alma (Olson) Wilke. He attended school in Marion, WI. Glenn worked at the Clintonville Canning Factory for a while and at the FWD in Clintonville for many years. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and family genealogy research. He was skilled in masonry work, carpentry and construction. Glenn was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church of Clintonville.
He is survived by:
5 children & 2 grandchildren: Robert Wilke of Plover, WI, Edward Wilke of Beloit, WI, Theresa Wilke of Plover, WI, Jonathon (Meleia) Wilke and their children Josiah & Lucille of Hutton, Texas, and Jeffery Wilke of Plover, WI.
3 brothers: Edward (Geno) Wilke of Estes Park, Colorado, Daniel Wilke of Fond du Lac, WI and Gary Wilke of Shawano, WI.
He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward & Alma Wilke, 4 sisters: Jerolyn Wilke, Janice Wilke, Elaine Schneider and Shirley Lembke, and a daughter Sarah Wilke.
A graveside committal and interment will take place at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Plover Cemetery, Village of Plover, with the Rev. Patrick Kloehn officiating.
