Helen Jaeger Obituary

Helen M. Jaeger, age 86 of Bear Creek, was carried home by the angels to take her place in heaven on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Aster Assisted Living, Clintonville.

Helen Mae Jaeger was born in Bear Creek on November 18, 1937, daughter to the late Raymond & Gladys (Ramsdell) Lehman. She graduated from Bear Creek High School with the class of 1956. Helen met John H. Jaeger while she was working at the Hortonville Toy Factory, and the couple was united in marriage on May 12, 1962 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bear Creek. She was a life-long member of St. Mary’s, and had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior. As they started their family, Helen loved her role as a mother; and over the years as her children grew up, she also became like a second mother and grandmother to many of the children in her life. Helen cherished weekends up north at the camper at Lily River Lodge near Pickerel, WI and loved to host family and friends alike. With a knack for working in the kitchen, she was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She took pride in growing vegetables in her large garden and canned much of the bounty from her efforts. Helen was also gifted when it came to sewing & crocheting; and always had crafting activities for her grandchildren. Helen was more of an introvert and drew her energy from completing tasks around home and keeping her social life on the smaller side. She will be remembered for the love and care she showed to her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Helen is survived by her:
