Jean L. Handrich (Schnorr), age 84 of the Township of Larrabee, passed away January 24, 2024 peacefully at her home with family by her side.
She was born on March 6, 1939 in Clintonville, WI to the late Arthur and Louise (Krueger) Schnorr. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart Darrell Handrich on July 6, 1961.
Jean loved gardening, canning, fishing, playing cards and traveling. She was involved with the Ladies Aid at church and was a member of the Red Hatters and Waupaca Homemaker’s Club. She loved being around her family especially her seven grandchildren, they were her life.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell; children Tim (Lynn Harthorne) Handrich, Tom (Sue) Handrich, Terri (Pete) Lokken; grandchildren Aaron Handrich, Dylan Handrich, Max Handrich, Ben Handrich, MacArthur Lokken, Truman Lokken and Karenna Lokken; sister Janice Schnorr; sister-in-law Lois Schnorr; Brothers-in Law Dennis (Cynthia) Handrich, Douglas (Paula) Handrich and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Louise Schnorr, brother Dan Schnorr, sister Janet Schnorr, and parents-in-law Lyle and Erma Handrich.
The family has chosen to have a private family service at a later date.
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville is assisting the Handrich family with arrangements.
