Jerome “Jerry” R. Krueger passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.
Jerome Russell Krueger was born February 28, 1943 to Alvin “Jake” and Gladys (Olson) Krueger. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Bricco on September 12, 1963 at the St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville. The couple operated a farm and mink ranch for a number of years, however Jerry spent most of his life working as an electrician at the Little Rapids Papermill in Shawano. Jerry and JoAnn enjoyed camping and traveling around the country in their RV over the years. Jerry loved being outdoors; especially hunting and spending time with his dog, Dozer.
Survivors include:
Sons: Jason (Meghan) Krueger and Jesse (Savannah) Krueger.
6 Grandchildren: Caiden, Kai, Kaleb (Savannah), Trystan, Shyra, and Reyna.
3 Great-Grandchildren: Lavinia, Guinevere, and Aldrik.
Also Siblings: Rosie (David) Harney, Wally “Bud” (Sally) Krueger, and Sandy (Duane) Mitchel.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife JoAnn in 2016, and numerous other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held Monday January 22, 2024 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home (South Location, 299 S. Main Street, Clintonville) with visitation starting at 9am and a prayer service conducted by Rev. Brian Crocker beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in the Town of Matteson, Waupaca County. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by Jerry’s family.
