Obituary
Joan B. Lee, age 93 of Shawano, WI formerly of Sunrise Beach, TX passed away surrounded by family Sunday morning, July 30, 2023 at Shawano Health Services.
Heaven has a new angel today! Joan was also known affectionately as “Mums” and “Mutz” by her family. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” E. Lee in Milwaukee on May 30, 1949. Joan led a very exciting and busy life. As a world traveler she visited Europe and Asia. Joan and Bob owned and maintained many different rentals over the years. These rentals started with a duplex and went all the way up to a multi apartment complex. Joan packed a lot into her almost 94 years and will be remembered fondly by her family.
Survivors include:
6 Children: Robert “Bob” (Carol) Lee, Mary (Gary) Korb, Patti (Leo) Loc, Kris (Louella) Lee, Sue Lee, and Jane (Doug) Fuller.
13 Grandchildren & 19 Great-Grandchildren
Also numerous other relatives and friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents George and Marie (Raith) Schwalbach and her husband Robert in 2009.
A memorial service will be held Thursday August 10, 2023 at 10:30am at Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Sunrise Beach, TX. A luncheon will follow the service and inurnment will take place in Sunrise Beach Cemetery. Friends may gather at the church just prior to the service.
